Career Conference

The Career Conference is an annual event, which exposes our Scholars to professional pathways while building essential networking and interview skills to equip them for professional success.  Volunteers can sign up here to support one day or both days of the Career Conference or contact Meagan Taylor (meagan@thesmartprogram.org) for more information.


April 10 (5:30-7:30)

Career Panels:  Volunteers will participate in panels representing diverse career fields and answer questions about their educational and professional journeys.

Networking Workshop: Volunteers will provide feedback on resumes and introductory emails to support students in networking with professionals in fields of interest.


April 11 (5:30-7:30)

Mock Interviews: Professionals will conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to students.

Career Fair: Volunteers will  network with Scholars and help them sign up for opportunities including informational interviews, shadow visits, career tours, and internships with Bay Area companies.
